With August renowned as the “Wedding month” we thought it would be appropriate to cover one of our favourite wedding venues – Colshaw Hall in Cheshire. It was just a couple of months ago when soap star Catherine Tyldesley chose Colshaw Hall as the venue to celebrate her special day!
Situated in 300 acres of private countryside in the heart of Cheshire, the former home of the Irlam Family was built in 1903 and it has been beautified into a magnificent event venue – famous for holding spectacular weddings. The Stables have recently been renovated in to a ceremony room holding up to 180 guests, giving you the full wedding package in one location.
With a capacity of 180 in their second event space, the Peel Suite, the Colshaw Hall family-run team are now looking to welcome more corporate events. The versatility of the country estate means that you have complete free range when organising events ensuring that it is entirely bespoke to the client. You will definitely not get the standard “hotel” venue experience!
What we loved about this venue:
New for 2016 are these quirky Eco Lodges located within the grounds adding to the accommodation options already available. They even have underfloor heating so perfect for those cosy winter nights! You’ll also be sharing this area with ‘The Three Bears’ which were carved by local chainsaw sculptor and artist Tim Burgess.
